Meet the Executive Director,
Dana Harney

Dana Harney brings over 12 years of Operational experience to Discovery Commons at San Pablo. A trusted and skillful leader in Senior Living and Senior Health Care, she has been recognized for her strong leadership abilities and creating a work culture of communication and collaboration. Dana believes the key to quality Senior Living is to inspire residents to have the best quality of life and consistent communication as possible. Dana holds a master’s degree in Health Care Administration from Capella University and a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration from Florida State College of Jacksonville. She has also Earned her Associate in Science and Nursing RN and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP).

Dana also served her county honorably in the United States Navy completing 10 years of dedicated service. Outside of work, Dana enjoys spending time with her three children and her husband, Derrick. She also enjoys traveling and hiking with her two Labradoodles, Dexter and Dawson.

Team Member Training

Team member training is crucial in senior living as it ensures team members are well-equipped to provide high-quality care and support to residents. Proper training enhances employees' understanding of residents' physical, emotional, and cognitive needs, fostering a safe and compassionate environment.
